First In Readiness and Self-Sufficiency Training

F.I.R.S.T. Contractors provides Job Readiness and Life Skills Training for young adults who are preparing to leave the foster care and other government systems.

Program deliverables for are:

• Vocational Assessment
• Signed Participation Agreement and Behavior Management Contract
• Hands-On Job Readiness Training in the Areas of Carpentry, Inventory Control, and Data Entry
• Group and Individual Counseling Addressing Life Management Skills and Money Management
• Training Stipend starting at $5.45 (raises are possible)
• Transportation Support
• Case Management
• Monthly Progress Reports
• Job Placement Opportunities (where applicable)
